GuitarShop is an online guitar store but we also have a brick and mortar store based in the town of Folkestone, Kent (we are the first music town in the world!).
We stock a wide range of quality new and used guitars, amplifiers, pedals and accessories from various brands, ranging from entry-level kit for beginners through to enthusiast gear for seasoned guitarists. We have pretty much everything a guitarist could ever need!
We don’t judge anyone’s guitar playing ability, so relax and come in and see us any time so that we can help you get exactly what you need. We have an extensive range of beginner, intermediate and professional guitars to suit any requirement or budget.
Why not come down of a weekend and try a few guitars? We’ve got plenty! You may also find some local Folkestone music at one of the local bars or venues!
Hi, I’m Ant. I have been playing guitar since 1985. After playing in numerous bands throughout the years, in 2010 I decided to take the plunge and turn my passion into a business, and GuitarShop Folkestone was born!
As a guitarist myself, I understand what a guitarist’s needs are. I can help fine tune your guitar rig to work the way you need it to with reliability and, most of all, good tone, volume and clarity so that you can be heard!
I’m always happy to help fellow guitarists with advice or chat about equipment, etc. – I have a special passion for vintage guitars and amplifiers.
