The Gibson SG Special evolved out of the Les Paul Special in the early 60s when Gibson introduced the SG as its primary solidbody shape. The SG Special was conceived as a more affordable, Scaled down take on the SG Standard, and this designation persists till today.

Used guitars vary, and as such we would recommend visiting our store to try them out prior to purchase. All used guitars are thoroughly inspected and assessed prior to listing.
All new guitars come with a standard 12 month manufacturer’s warranty.
Used guitars are warranted for 1 month.
