The Monty’s 53 Tele pickup set is a glorious replication of the much sought after 1952-1953 classic bright and twangy Telecaster tone, the flat flush pole neck pickup has a warm woody tone with plenty of clarity and definition to punch through all of the other frequencies on any stage, the neck pickup also has a nickel cover instead of chrome which will age and patinate naturally over time, giving an authentic look to any vintage guitar replication, the bridge pickup has bite and width without being shrill and thin sounding,
All Monty’s Tele sets (just like old Fender pickups), these pickups are only partially potted. This keeps the centre of the coil free from wax, resulting in more clarity, also making the pickups more responsive.

Yes, all of our new guitars are personally set up for optimal tone and playability in-store by Ant, our owner. Ant is an expert guitar technician and has been playing for over 39 years.
Used guitars vary, and as such we would recommend visiting our store to try them out prior to purchase. All used guitars are thoroughly inspected and assessed prior to listing.
All new guitars come with a standard 12 month manufacturer’s warranty.
Used guitars are warranted for 1 month.

If your guitar is faulty, you can return it to us within 14 days for a full refund or credit – Please contact us prior to sending back and we will start the process. Your refund will be issued once appraised.
